You know, it's one of those things . . . I don't have a family member who was a dentist or anything like that. I just thought I'd be good at it. I really enjoy science, and I love fixing problems, and what better profession than dentistry to, you know, combine both of those aspects? It's kind of cliché to say "to help people," but really it is. It really boils down to that. You've got somebody coming in, they're in pain, they don't know what to do, you get them out of pain, and, you know, you're their best friend for the rest of their life. Just getting that sense that you're actually contributing to society and being a positive force out there. And so, when people come to see me, I want them to feel comfortable, you know, just like if I was one of their family members, or friends, or . . . You know, you see a lot of people come through here and you get a lot of different backgrounds. And, just hearing their stories, where they've traveled to, where they've come from in life, and, you know, how they got to this point, it's been very interesting. I've heard a lot of stories over the years, and, you know, made a lot of friends. You know, because it's not just me helping them, they help me too.
